Why Villa Safira for your wedding

A capacity sized for the inner circle

The villa accommodates 14 guests across 6 bedrooms. This is the perfect unit for housing the couple, their parents, witnesses, brothers and sisters. External guests — between 30 and 80 depending on your format — are accommodated in partner riads in central Marrakech or Palmeraie hotels, 15 to 25 minutes by car. This setup clearly separates the intimate quarters from the reception venue.

A photogenic setting without staging

Heated private pool framed by olive trees, garden of more than 1000 sqm, unobstructed view of the Atlas range, and the late-afternoon light typical of the Aghmat region. The spaces lend themselves equally to a poolside secular ceremony and an outdoor dinner under the trees. No element requires heavy decoration: stone, wood and patinas are enough.

Logistics anticipated for wedding planners

Access from Marrakech-Menara airport takes 25 to 30 minutes. The villa has a private car park large enough for caterers, florists or DJs. The common areas (lounge, dining room, covered terrace, cinema room) provide fall-back options for late-afternoon storms — common in April, May and September.

Spaces to decompress around the wedding day

Private cinema room for the post-event photo screening, fitness room for the couple and close family, billiards table, and a heated pool open year-round. The wedding day is a peak: the days before and after matter just as much. The villa lets families meeting for the first time find their rhythm.

What's included in the wedding package

Indicative rate: from EUR 322 per night for the entire villa, EUR 150 cleaning fee. Wedding privatisation requires a 4 to 7 night minimum stay depending on season. Custom quote on request.

Optional wedding services

Private chef

On-site chef for family meals before and after the ceremony: lunches, rehearsal dinner, next-day brunch. Traditional Moroccan or Mediterranean cuisine, depending on your preferences. Quote based on guest count and format.

Airport transfers and guest shuttles

Sedans with driver from Marrakech-Menara for the couple and immediate family. Coordination of shuttles to bring external guests from central Marrakech to the villa on the wedding day. Per-trip or full-day rates depending on configuration.

Wedding planner coordination

Connections with French and English-speaking wedding planners based in Marrakech, specialised in mixed Franco-Moroccan or European weddings. They handle florist, furniture rental, catering, DJ, photographer and legal formalities if you wish to marry locally.

Massage and beauty treatments at the villa

On-site practitioner for facials, argan-oil massage and bridal preparation rituals for the bride and bridesmaids. Treatments delivered in-room or in the garden, on the morning of the wedding. Per-session rate.

Floral design and styling

Local florists working with bougainvillea, olive branches, eucalyptus and Moroccan roses. Minimalist styling consistent with the villa's architecture, or more elaborate installations for ceremonies of 50 to 80 guests. Quote on brief.

Photographer and videographer

Network of wedding photographers based in Marrakech, trained in southern light and familiar with the villa. Coverage from preparations through dinner, cinematic video, drone where authorised. Per-day package.

Wedding FAQ

How many people can sleep at the villa?

14 guests across 6 bedrooms. This is a strict cap for comfort, safety and compliance reasons. For additional guests, we refer to partner riads and hotels in the city centre.

How many guests can attend the ceremony or dinner?

The villa comfortably accommodates 30 to 80 people for a standing or seated dinner in the garden, depending on configuration. Beyond that, we discuss the layout in advance with your wedding planner.

Can foreigners marry civilly in Morocco?

Yes, but the procedure is heavy and requires several months of advance work with the consulate. Most of our couples marry civilly in France or the UK first, and hold a symbolic secular ceremony at the villa.

Is a wedding planner mandatory?

No, but we recommend one from 30 guests onwards. For elopement or vow renewal formats with 14 people, direct coordination with the villa and a private chef is usually sufficient.

Is the pool heated year-round?

Yes, the pool is heated. It remains usable from November through March, opening the seasonal window for winter and early-spring weddings.

What is the minimum booking length for a wedding?

4 nights minimum off-peak, 7 nights in high season (May, June, September, October). This duration allows you to handle preparations, the wedding day, and a recovery day calmly.

Is there parking for vendors and guests?

Yes, private parking on the property for vendor equipment (catering, florist, DJ). For external guests we coordinate shuttles rather than individual parking.

Can we have a DJ or amplified music late at night?

Yes, until midnight outdoors and until 2am indoors (the cinema room can be reconfigured as a dance floor). Beyond that, the municipality applies constraints your wedding planner knows well.

How does menu tasting work?

If you work with a private chef, a tasting can be organised at the villa 24 to 48 hours before the wedding. With external caterers, tastings happen in their Marrakech kitchens before your stay.

What is the option and firm booking lead time?

We hold a 7-day option without commitment, while you finalise the format. The firm booking is confirmed with a 30% deposit at signature, balance 30 days before arrival.
